just finish another mural painting project. this time, it's for kenzo, my little nephew. was so excited in finishing this project.. this time i didn't print the drawing before, but i made it first using adobe illustrator... and i sketched it by hand on the wall. got some trouble in mixing the paint and water at first, i forgot how the measurement should be.. but well, i figured it out. glad everything has done now ! :D

"It doesn't matter how slow you go so long as you do not stop." -- Confucius. a great one, isnt it? sometimes we feel like giving up. dont. just continue.. no matter how slow..it matters. such an encouragement :)

december spirit

december is coming!!! just finished the projects, happy to welcome december. waiting for my fiancee to come home :D let's celebrate with some cute illustrations!!

my new job :D

yesterday was the second time i taught kids to draw..there were 3 of them and yesterday i got two new students so now there are 5 :D. i once dreamt to be a drawing teacher and now it comes true :) kids are always talkative but that what makes them so lovable :) here are their artworks..enjoy!!

inspired by nature

sometimes when i see something beautiful i want my imagination to be part of it. saw the scenery of bagan, somewhere in myanmar, suddenly i picture something in my mind to be illustrated. went to lembang to have lunch with my friends at rumah stroberi, i saw this small beautiful pond, the next thing i know, i took the picture of it and started imagining what i could illustrate from that. i always imagine about these little people who live in their own world with their tiny things. in this case, their worlds refer to the scenery i saw. i always love to imagine them who have different hair colors and who are always happy. here they are, what came out from my mind, inspired by nature :)

and usually, after the illustration is created, or in the middle of the making, the stories start to flow in my mind. about a princess who flies alone with hot air balloon, or a happy couple who are just got married with lily pad as their ride, guarded by the ducks... would like to create the story until the finish line, but i have to learn more and work harder for that.. :)

sometimes in life we get lucky and everything seems to be on the right track. sometimes life gets worse, we fall and grieve... but we try and try and try... in the end we will get up, ready for a new beginning. and sometimes in life, this cycle will start again. but we know, we'll always be okay :) blossom, fall, revive.
